Faith's 8th Birthday! - 30 July 2011

My little girl had a great birthday! She turned 8 & present were her Aunt Tess, her brother Ian, Masie, Taylor, Hailey, Kerry, Me, 5 cats & 5 snakes in attendance. (Some more secretively than others.)

Harry Potter was the man of the hour with his friends in tow.

Masie & Faith are looking at a Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon.

On her wrist is a Harry Potter watch. This is a HP card Ian got her. It plays music.

 

She tried to zap her brother, but she hasn't noticed any change.

Yes, it is a light up Harry Potter Wand.

She also got a wand that is a pen.

  

A design notebook & Hermione's Time Turner, a doodle book & electronic bug that is green with pink bunny ears!

She got bathtub items, a cute Ladybug bath item holder, a dress, & sparkly pink hightops from her Aunt Tess!

  

The cake was very big & all chocolate!

She also got Cards from her grandparents & lovely giftcards!

These were Faith's presents from her dad.

Muffin holds a Snake!

Okay, so no it isn't a real muffin, but she is my muffin, Faith! And she HELD A SNAKE! I have just been trying to get her to touch one led alone hold one! Kerry has been working on this for ages! So, when Kerry issues Faith a challenge to help her with a photo with a snake, we about both fell over when Faith agreed.

Sunday, Faith decided to pull a joke on Kerry & tell her she was ready to have her picture with the snake. Kerry was happy...
  until Faith showed her her snake.....

to which Kerry replied, "Nooooo." 

 That wasn't going to work, it had to be a real one.

So, on Monday during her "Kerry" time the coaxing began. (I did ask if she gave her something, but she swears she didn't.)

  Well... you have to start somewhere!

Oh my Gosh, she touched the snake!!!

 

 

AGAIN?!

Well, she fulfilled her deal.

Wait a minute now....She is holding her now....

Ah, see! I told her it wasn't so bad. Why do my children never believe me?

Let's give Tinkerbell a hand!

Faith's Award! - 25 May 2010

Faith had her awards today! One said "For the student who is always happy & shares with others. Way to go Faith" Mrs. Mumme The second one said "For being an Excellent Speller on Spelling & Sight word tests".


I went & sat next to Kerry & Hailey. Afterwards we walked home & Faith started to cry @ Kerry & Masie going to the UK for a visit. She made them feel bad, so we went in for a while. Kerry & I chatted away. 


Jim arrived. I gave him $100 more for the hotel & dinner with the kids. They also went swimming at his hotel. I didn't get out of the car. I let Jim get Connor's things & put them in his car.


During that time I went out to Dad's house to have dinner with Tess. It was good & it was nice.


I asked Jim to stop leaving messages on my cell. I hate retrieving them. Such a pain. He wrote some obnoxious texts @ my being mean. Oh well. I told him I didn't have to talk to him. He said I wasn't leaving a good example for my kids. Talk @ bad example? Hmm.


Ian stayed overnight with Connor & Jim. Faith came home with me. They had a nice time.


Faith & I had a nice quiet time at home that I miss.
