May 2012

It was also the end of the 3rd grade for my daughter, Faith. I was unable to be there due to being in the hospital a little too drugged up, but my best friend was there to take photos for me! Thanks!

They performed a play at the end for the parents.

We also had fun with Kerry & her day care kiddos.

After lunch there was some marshmallow attacks & I think Kerry started it!

My daughter was being silly! Did I mention she was also being ornery?

We went for frozen custard after...

This month marks the Wedding of my cousin Jenna to Justin Geifer.

They are a very darling couple, aren't they?

A Night of Sorrow - 23 April 2012

I wish for you no pain, no sorrow.
But life doesn't work that way.

I wish for you to have rainbows
But you must wear the storms.

I wish for you the all the love you deserve,
Try to forget those who didn't know better.

You are my children & I love you with all that I am.
I am not the best mother in the world, but never forget I love you with all that I am.

I wish life had delt you an easier hand.
I wish it could have been simple & grand.
I wish you didn't ache.
I wish I could make it all go away.

But know that every tear that you shed, I shed them with you.
When you wake up at night & wish I were there,
My hand is reaching back from here.

I don't know why it turned out this way.
All I can do is pray that one day you will wake up & understand that God has a plan.
And we have to keep faith.

Because I believe in all of you.
It may not be said enough, but I will try to be better.
You may have days of doubts, because children, I have them too.
But know that I love you & when you ache, I ache.
When you cry, I would rather take all of your pain.

And no matter what, know that when you soar,
I could be no prouder.
Know that I love you all with all of my heart.

I never would have asked life to have been so complicated for you.
I never would have asked that we not be together like we should.
I never would have asked that you live through such sorry so young.

But I believe in you.
You will triumph.
You will overcome.
You are my heart & soul, no matter where we are in the world from one another.

I love you all. You are my heart.

Faith's photos & a Fashion Show - April 2012

My daughter has decided to freak me out & be all girly with some new dresses & "heels". My friend Kerry, someone who is great with the camera, & my girl who loves to pose, photos had to be taken! Here they are.

Told you she was good! :) Then there is the pretty little girl I was lucky to have! :):)

Here is the little show she put on for me the eve before of her new outfits.

Four pretty girls on a sand rock.

Taylor digging and Taylor going dooowwwnn the hill!

Sand posing?

All & all not too bad for a phone camera since SOMEONE - no not me, the photographer of the lot- forgot her camera! :)

It was an awesome day with the girls & all having fun. I even made a message for my Ian.

I took Masie & Faith up to the Space Center. (I wonder why since Faith hates the height of the building!) They had a good time though.

They had to push all the buttons.        /        Inside they were building.

Outside they even had a rocket that was from the UK!

 Pretty cool!

A little surprise Spg Brk - 18 March 2012

We visited Connor in Las Cruces. We had a nice time. Playing, shopping - way too expensive of shopping! The boy needed shoes & pants & begged for a nice dress shirt & tie. He has loved those since he was a little bugger. Well, that was a pretty penny! So, after all of that, a movie, & too much eating we took him home.

As I pulled into a parking lot  of a hotel my daughter asked what we were doing.   :) Devious smile. I told her I thought we'd spend the night. She was sooo excited. The funny part is she carried out the see-through back pack that had our clothes in it & had no clue!

We went swimming, they had a really nice pool. We were literally across the hall from it & despite a new tattoo (ouchy) I went swimming too! So lovely. After prying her out of the pool we went to eat dinner & back to the room. Since it was spring break we weren't in any hurry, but the hotel had the worst tv & no movies.

Glad those swimming lessons are paying off!

Don't you love that one? Looks like a funky monster! Love her laugh! :)
The next am, she swam again, flicking water at me as I tried reading my Sohpie Kinsella story on my kindle. Ornery girl!

Waiting for the restraunt to open.

We went to Ruby Tues, which we had never been too. Very fancy. She got a Red Velvet cupcake - See mum, we are always thinking of you! (My mum's fav, Red Velvet.) Then we came home. It was nice.

Catching Up - 2 Feb 2012

This is my "Thing 8" for Dr. Seuss day. Imagine what Dr. Seuss would think with kids & adults who dress up like his characters & like my friend Kerry, who makes green eggs for her kids! :) She is Thing 8 because 8 is her favorite number.

Can we say, Cat Nip play?

This is my Flicker baby! Isn't she the cutest? This is a bird bath for a bird cage, but I got it some time ago for her & she loves it. Every night I can see her curled up inside asleep. Ahhh. Wish I could make the other photo clearer, but you can see her looking at me.

This is Scrawny. I am not sure if she fell asleep reading a book or if she is keeping them company. :)

This is my daughter taking pics of herself. She loves playing out in this field.

This is not my cat. But he is cute isn't he? He is my sister's cat, but he comes to visit or my daughter (literally) hauls him in to visit! He is quite a pill & non of my cats are overly thrilled when he is here.
